RDR2 does it run 60 fps on ps5?

I never played red dead redemption on last gen, do you think it will get a ps5 patch soon or is that some ways out? I was recently offered the disc version and was wondering if I should play it now or wait on a ps5 version.

Locked at 30 on ps5. I'd play it now. We don't know if and when they will release an enhancement patch. Still one of the best looking game as-is tho.

Is it 4k30? Or lowered res? I'm playing it in a 4k monitor using my ps5 and damn looks fuzzy/blurry AF.

It loads real fast if you out it on the PS5 SSD so there is benefit there.

Its 30fps until Rockstar decides to sell you the same game for $70 lol. Even then, it still might be 30fps as they are the type of dev to go for glamour over performance

Exactly. Rockstar released a content update for GTA:O recently but hasn't released a 60fps patch alongside it. Pretty sure the PS5 won't ever get it (because then they can't sell you the same game for the third time). Best case scenario, the PS5 version will be $30, but it will most likely be $60. Somehow, I wouldn't even be surprised if it were $70 even though it's a 7 year old game..

im 3/4 into the game.. no 60fps.. the game is beautiful as it is. 60fps will make it perfect.

The horse look and move very weird at 60fps on pc. So really it's kinda detrimental to the game IMO.

There probably won't be a next gen patch soon, Rocester have a habit of making you pay for the same game 3 times, very similar to Bethesda with their countless Skyrim versions

This issue should be from the dev side of things. If 3090 has issues running this game at 4K over 60fps, it's probably a poorly porter pc game. The fact that updates on pc have cause issues probably implies that they have amateur devs working on updates, while the higher level devs have moved onto new major releases.

A 3090 can run RDR2 higher than 60fps... lol. If you are talking about maxing the 40 graphical settings that console does not have, along with res scaling up to 6k...you're still wrong. I would get above 80+ FPS with the game maxed at 4k ultra. Closer to 60 FPS at 6k resolution.

A 3090 would not have any problems running Red Dead @ 4k/ 60 FPS... stop posting bullshit...
